Reference to externally dropped element in onEventCreated event

Hello, I searched the forums as well as the documentation but couldn’t find an answer.

Is there an implemented way of finding the source-element for an external drag and drop, either by using on of its event handlers or the calendar onEventCreated? I need to remove the externally available items after they have been added to the calendar, and currently can’t find an obvious solution.

Before I set off implementing a workaround, I thought that this might be a common usecase and would like to know if there already is a way to do this.
