In the month view, I can choose month by clicking on the month, it lists all the months in the bottom and I can select to navigate to that month quickly. Likewise, I need to pick year quickly, rather than navigating by clicking right arrow “>”.

Sure, you can solve that with the yearChange setting, more information here: https://docs.mobiscroll.com/angular/eventcalendar#opt-yearChange.
For example if you want to be able to change years you need to set like this --> yearChange: true .
