Can't select on filtered select using keyboard

Using select, with filter option set to false and uiTouch set to false, I can navigate with tab keys and arrow keys to get to my desired item, then hit ‘enter’ and the selection is made.

However, if I set filter to true, it fails to make the selection

When using the filter option you need to use the TAB button to focus on the wheel and then you can select items with arrows.
